Dior Maison and Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance Unveil Sculptural Corolle Lamps at Salone del Mobile 2026

At Salone del Mobile, Dior Maison continues its creative collaboration with Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance through a new chapter of the “Corolle” lighting collection, a series where light, glass, and couture-inspired forms converge with remarkable delicacy. Originally introduced in 2019, the project evolves this year into a more atmospheric and sculptural exploration of illumination, transforming lighting into an experience shaped as much by emotion as by function.

Presented within the historic Palazzo Landriani in Milan’s Brera district, the installation unfolds as a dreamlike environment conceived by Dior Maison. The scenography subtly references the gardens of Villa Les Rhumbs, the childhood home of Christian Dior, translating personal memory into a lush and immersive visual landscape. Thai artists Korakot Aromdee and Vasana Saima contribute layered organic forms that evoke botanical growth, suspended movement, and a sense of quiet ritual. Within this setting, the portable and table versions of the “Corolle” lamps appear almost weightless, forming a luminous procession throughout the space.

For Duchaufour-Lawrance, light is never merely functional; it behaves like a living material capable of shaping atmosphere and perception. This approach defines the new collection, where transparency, reflection, and diffusion become central design elements. Glass surfaces capture and refract light in subtle ways, producing shifting tonalities that evolve depending on the surrounding environment and the viewer’s movement through the space.

The designer describes these luminous reflections as a language of their own, something immaterial that gradually acquires physical presence. That philosophy is evident throughout the collection, where each object seems suspended between solidity and disappearance. Rather than imposing itself visually, the lighting reveals itself slowly through shadow, glow, and delicate changes in surface texture.

The “Corolle” name itself references the iconic silhouette associated with Dior’s celebrated New Look. Echoes of couture emerge through softly unfolding curves, pleated contours, and sculptural lines reminiscent of flowing fabric and flower petals. Yet the connection to fashion remains intentionally restrained, allowing the lamps to function as autonomous design objects while quietly carrying the heritage of the House.

Available in Dior’s signature shades of grey, white, and pale pink, the lamps embody a refined balance between craftsmanship and atmosphere. Through this latest collaboration, Dior Maison and Duchaufour-Lawrance transform light into something deeply tactile and poetic, an object capable of shaping both space and emotion with remarkable subtlety.
